In 2003, a group of pioneering women in Jordan set out to support women in forging their paths as business owners and workforce leaders by developing their talents, capabilities, and opportunities. BPWA was established as an affiliate of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women and is connected to a global network of business and professional women’s federations and clubs.
Today, BPWA is a membership-based nonprofit organization working to strengthen women’s economic participation in Jordan. We believe that greater participation of women in the economy contributes to stronger businesses, communities, and national economic growth. Through developmental programs, professional networks, capacity building, and business opportunities, BPWA supports women in strengthening their careers, growing their businesses, and contributing meaningfully to the workforce and economy.
